Nice place, just a few hiccups
4/5 This was a nice quiet cabin, which is what we were looking for, but there were a couple of things that would’ve been nice to be aware of. First, the host fees include a large cleaning fee but the check out instructions also have an extensive list of cleaning items we were required to do. Having both the fee and the list seemed excessive. Also, we stayed in December and the heat was not on. We were able to figure out the thermostat and get the house warmed up but it took a little while. Overall, it was I nice place, just a few small things that would’ve been good to know prior to booking.

4/5 The house was very clean and had some wonderful features, like the location and wraparound porch, on which we spent lots of time. There were some minor problems that we worked around, including a broken ice-maker (we had to go out and buy ice cube trays), the electronic entry system that broke while we were there (the contact person was helpful and told us where we could find hidden house keys), and no working can opener. Overall, however, these problems did not affect our stay. A larger problem, which may simply be a matter of taste, is that the bed mattresses on all but one bed were much too soft for us and hard to sleep on. Except for this, however, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
