The cabin was pretty nice for the price, in a beautiful location surrounded by pine trees on a decent size lot but also close to town for easy access to whatever you need. The only problem was that it was advertised as having central air conditioning, but really only had a unit in one room so we had to use a couple fans to try to distribute the air through the rest of the house to keep it comfortable since there was a heatwave and it was 90° during the day. By cranking the air all the way down in one room and running the fans all day we were able to make the rest of the house comfortable. One other small problem was that the neighbors were a little rude, not to us directly but they called & complained to the owners because our kids were wandering around in the forest behind the house, not causing any trouble, just being kids and exploring in the woods but apparently crossed over onto their property which is not marked at all as far as we could see. So just be careful if you want to go walk in the woods behind the house not to go too far off to the side. One other potential issue is the floors are a little uneven in the house with a lot of steps up and down and some slanting, not a big deal for me but for elderly or people with balance issues it might not be the best.

The location is close enough to walk to a few restaurants & movie theater which was very convenient. Neighborhood was wonderfully quiet during the weekdays, only saw a handful of people all week.

cabin is fine but with odd layout and no air conditioning.
Hi Janet, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
We are glad you chose the home and we are sorry your stay was not what you expected. There is a split unit A/C that cools the cabin very well, we also use a floor fan to send into the main cabin. We use local, professional photographers to make sure that the listing photos correctly reflect the property and layout, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised.
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback.

We loved that the location was close enough to walk to a few restaurants, ice cream & movie theater. Also enjoyed that the community was quiet & very wooded for shade to walk our dog & enjoy outside during the heat of the day even. They have thought of anything you might need to use during your stay, really enjoyed our time thx!!
