  The cabin itself is very nice, however, with the exception of the two-cushion couch in the sun room the rest of the furniture in the cabin was not.

• Favorite spot in Flag!

  I’ve stayed at this property the last two years in a row for my birthday and absolutely love it. It’s such a wonderful, cozy cabin-like house with beautiful surroundings that feel remote, while being only 10 minutes from downtown Flag. It’s fenced in so I feel comfortable letting my dog roam while I sit outside and read. The house has almost everything you need, so it makes packing easy. I’ll be back soon, hopefully for a longer stay! Highly recommend!

• Magical and Gorgeous!

  This cabin is beautifully renovated with nice finishes and decor- really great, very clean, cozy. Master bed is comfy. Kitchen is well stocked. It has everything one would need. It has a great warm, cozy, cabin feel- magical! Appreciated the helpful instructions that were in strategic locations throughout the cabin. Gorgeous property!!! It is sloped, lots of tall pine trees, big rock outcroppings, overlooks a creekbed, yard is fenced, quiet, and private. Having a fenced yard was important to us because we wanted to bring our dogs. They loved having a wonderful yard to explore and run around in. I also liked the smaller enclosed dog run right outside the living room that we could let them out at night for a quick potty. Nice big deck. Near the back of the yard is a pleasant sitting area to enjoy the view and wildlife- we saw a gray fox, squirrels, jays. Small nitpik- when gas heater was on- a little difficult to hear tv. We would definitely love to stay again! Thank you!!!

• Mixed Feelings

  The house is adorable. Very nicely decorated, appliances were in excellent condition and the setting was beautiful. However....

  I understood that there were steps to maneuver to enter the house but was very surprised by the number of them. One person (me) to do all of the unloading was a workout. Also, there is no covered area near the entrance and since it was raining when we arrived everything had to be carried into the house and down an interior stairway to keep belongings dry.

  I have rented numerous vacation houses over the last decade and have encountered all kinds of locks to enter the home. A little warning about the non-used "hide-a-key" thing next to the door would have been helpful. After unsuccessfully trying that I tried to call the Evolve assistant. No answer, no answer, no answer. She finally called back just before I had to introduce myself to the neighbors by mooning them. (I needed the bathroom.) It would have been VERY helpful to know that I had to touch the lock label on the door for it to light up and allow me to enter the thoughtfully arranged code.

  Then there was the fact that altho the yard is ruggedly beautiful and safely secured by an excellent fence, the ground had never been leveled and is covered with large rocks and pinecones. All falling hazards and my legs were already noodles from the workout on the stairs (stairs, stairs).

  Although I paid for a 2 week stay, I left after 6 days. I would have left sooner but hated the idea of reloading my car.

  - The Schlage keypad deadbolt is designated for guest use, with detailed instructions provided in both the Welcome Book and the pre-stay information. We value your feedback and will consider how we can further clarify these instructions, particularly concerning the lock label and the nearby 'hide-a-key' lockbox, which is not intended for guest use.

  The view and the grounds were amazing and more beautiful than the pictures show. We had a wonderful time and plan to return.
