• Comfortable Close “Cabin”

  My mom, spouse, 13 yo kid, dog and I all had a wonderful 6-night stay at this spacious home during our spring break. We loved (I) accessing the local trails directly from the backyard, (ii) setting up our telescope on the backyard deck to enjoy nightly dark sky stargazing (except for one night when the neighbors lit up the entire forest for their outdoor festivities), (iii) relaxing in the jacuzzi while enjoying the sunset views of the forest and hills, (iv) keeping our bikes safely locked up in the spacious garage, (v) spreading out in king sized beds, (vi) having plenty of bathrooms and closet space, (vii) being not too far from historic downtown and minutes from grocery stores and restaurants, and (viii) having only minimal, reasonable chores at check out. The house was clean, thoughtfully stocked (even a welcome treat was provided!), nicely designed and very comfortable. I’d love to go back again - or live there permanently!

  We loved the special and unique nooks and the feeling of living in a "real" live-in home. We had everything we needed and all we needed to get to was close by.

• Wonderful location

  This property is located in a nice and very convenient location of the city. While the couches were very comfortable, the room placements could have been better. Also, there are too many light switches. It became a game of find the right light switch. Lastly, the rear patio was unusable. Spiders and dust everywhere and no cushions on the patio chairs. Don’t hold the stair rails, you might end up with a splinter, they are uncared for making traversing the uneven entry steps somewhat dangerous.

  Hi Deb, we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts about your recent stay. Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:
  -We’ve addressed this issue with our cleaning staff to sweep the patio between guests. There are enough cushions for the twelve patio chairs, which we store in the large boxes on both decks to keep them clean for our guests.
  -Regarding the handrails and stairs on the patio, our property does have some tricky aspects, so we don’t recommend it for the elderly, handicapped, or small children for their comfort and safety.
