• Terrible road access

  Our journey up the 1.1 mile terrible path leading to the house took almost 20 minutes. The path goes through grazing field for cattle with many large rocks jutting up that need to be avoided. Ruts in the road that have you going side to side and even when you do go slow your vehicle will never be the same. The lift gate or rear hatch of my vehicle separated from the interior and had to have it fixed before driving home because it rattled so loudly. We had to borrow my Son’s Tundra and give him our SUV for the remainder of our trip. The trip was for my son’s wedding, because of the road we had to cancel family get together on Sunday and have it at the home my daughter rented. Which by the way was beautiful, more room, better furnishings and cost less than mine. I would not rent this unless you drive a four wheel drive truck, do not expect newer or comfortable furnishings and don’t mind using an antique Mr Coffee that does not kee your coffee warm.

  Beautiful off-grid property with great views. Host was wonderful to work with. There was a bit of a learning curve with the off-grid but host and welcome binder were very helpful. Although we didn’t have a problem with the road in, there really should be more of a warning in the property description for people only use to highway driving.

• Beautiful Views

  Nice stay but getting to the place was not super easy. It was hard to find, and then a 5 minute off road adventure to get to the property. 2 gates to go through. One with a padlock - we were given the wrong code at first. The outside could have been maintained a bit better. The views and location once at the house were amazing.

• Great place, tucked away

  This home was a beautiful, peaceful location. Very close to a wedding we attended. I appreciated the "heads up" about the driveway, so that didn't surprise us. Worth the effort.
