2/5 This rental did not meet our expectations. Yard was tall, leaves and limbs on porch. Door lock was hooked on bottom of fireplace would be hard for an older person to reach. Electrical outlets/wiring exposed. Stairs are steep to loft with no railing. Thermostat was governed to 74 and had to request to lower it. Clean cabin looks like someone rented their personal home close to lake out. Rather overpriced.

Hi Ruth, we're sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner regarding your concerns, and they shared the following:
-The property was inspected, and no exposed wiring was found inside. However, the exterior cover of the electrical meter had been forcibly removed but has since been securely reattached.
-The loft is accessed by a ladder and is enclosed with a railing on all sides, except at the ladder entry. The ladder is designed to be safely used by holding the front-facing steps while ascending or descending.
-The yard is professionally maintained on a regular basis. All appliances are less than five years old, and the cabin, originally built in 2008, was fully updated in 2016.
