• Great Lakefront home for large group

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Serene Lakefront Mountain Home Getaway w/ Atrium!

  It was a great space for our large family group's annual lake trip. The lakefront location had an incredible view and was very peaceful. We enjoyed the many different outdoor seating areas and the direct access to the lake. It would be absolutely perfect if only there was a dock. The home itself was very clean and came with several extra amenities, but no extra toilet paper so come prepared.

  Overall we had a wonderful time, would recommend this home to others and we look forward to returning!

  Beautiful view! Lots of space. Close to everything. Totally exceeded our expectations. Will stay here again. Only thing that could have made it better would have been a dock, but that’s it!

• Disappointment

  Well lets get started the drive is very narrow and crocked, the entire house was coved with Dog hair from the whole bed being covered and the house floors as well. We spent the first 2 days cleaning the entire house so that we could feel like we could it least stay there. We had a shower issue and a water line broke behind the shower unit so a plumber had to come out at 9:30 pm at night only to not have what he needed to fix the problem, so we had to leave the house unlocked the next day so he could come back and fix the problem, and guess what lol he half fixed the problem after being gone all day and coming back to take a shower only to find there was only hot water that was coming out of the shower, there was no cold water in the shower, so i called the host Heather if that's what she is supposed to be and she did not answer so i sent a text and she sends one back Unavailable at movies lol I'm thinking she was a host, also the day we checked in within the first hour of check in I contacted Heather about the furniture that was broken in the front room that wasn't usable she { said she was letting the owner know about the broke furniture. Now let's get to the entire back deck of the house. It is rotten and dangerous, All of what I have mentioned is true and i have no reason to lie about this or any other property. Just thought everyone should know, Thats all. And when i had spoken to Heather about the house being dirty, she said it hasn't been cleaned in 2 weeks. LOL

  Hi Rick, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  -The couch in the front room is designed with only the two outside seats reclining, while the middle seat does not.
  -The house was personally cleaned before your arrival. Our dogs are not allowed on the west side of the house, and clean sheets were placed on the master bed.
  -Regarding the plumbing issue, a plumber was called immediately, and despite a delay, the hot water hose was repaired the following day. The next guests did not report any problems with the shower.
  -We take safety seriously and can confirm the deck is older but not rotten or dangerous.
  -When informed about your concerns, we reimbursed you for one night's stay as a goodwill gesture.

• Lakefront vacation

  Really great property on Lake Norfork. Bedrooms and atrium were all wonderful for our grandchildren, the view from the bedrooms and deck is spectacular. Had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property!
