5/5 Myself and 6 of my gal pals stayed at the Hardy House to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our host Gwen was wonderful, checking on us before arrival and again when a storm was rolling in. Fresh muffins were waiting for us in the kitchen as well. The house is just a 1/2 block easy walk from all the shopping Hardy has to offer as well as several restaurants. The front porch is the best spot in the house for cocktails & chatter. The outdoor patio areas are filled with flowering plants & cute decor with amble seating. There was enough firewood available to last us a month of evenings around the Firepit. And of course she had the area stocked with fire starters, lighter fluid, etc. Having stayed at quite a few rental properties in different states, we were impressed with the well-stocked kitchen, as there is everything you could ever need. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and the beds/linens/pillows were all great quality & comfy. My sister & her adult daughter stayed in the studio next to the main house & they absolutely loved it. It is freakin adorable as well. We arrived in 4 vehicles & there is amble parking spaces. I would absolutely stay here again & recommend it to anyone with a larger group.The surrounding areas of Cherokee Village, Mammoth Springs & Mountain Home are fun day excursions with plenty to see & do. We hit most of the antique shops and every brewery & winery we could fit in to our long weekend. Try the Corner Booth in Hardy for cheap food & quick service!
