  • Cozy log cabin is goblin core dream!

    5/5

We will definitely be staying at this cabin again, when we want a real retreat to get away from it all. This artistic cabin makes you feel like you're in another time and place. This is a perfect cabin for LARPing, playing a weekend of board games or having a goblin core getaway. Watching the stars, strolling the grounds, the peace and quiet here is perfect but still accessible. Perfect place to write your Great American Novel, too. Historic, atmospheric, but still with all the amenities. A unique experience.

  • Definitely worth visiting again.

    5/5

Stayed at the cabin with friends to view the eclipse. We slept in the comfortable bed in the downstairs alcove while our friends had the spacious bedroom upstairs. Absolutely loved all of the artistic details on the building, a joy to keep discovering them. We had so much fun being together that we avoided turning on the tv at night. We didn’t go cold turkey, our laptops and phones got the minimal workout to stave off withdrawal but it was so relaxing to unplug at night and enjoy each other.

There was a freestanding tub with a view but I’m I shower person and loved the hand painted tiles scene on the walls and floor. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals but the highlight was sitting on the front porch with morning coffee. So peaceful.

It’s out in the boonies but we definitely enjoyed the winding roads driving in from the south, a welcome change after being on freeways. We added an extra day to our trip so we could go to the Crystal Bridges Museum on the way back home.

    Definitely worth visiting again.

  • Log Cabin with a Flair

    5/5

This is a rental with character: a log cabin enhanced with many artistic touches. To name a few, I particularly liked the hand made tiles in the bathroom shower, the unique handrail leading to the upstairs, and the handcarved headboard on the upstairs bed. The relatively nearby Blanchard Springs cavern was right up our alley. Our visit to Arkansas and our stay at this cabin were truly special.

  • Treasure Trove!

    5/5

We meandered off the beaten trail as we drove across country and stayed two nights at this treasure. The area is super beautiful, and the cabin is a cozy and amazing place. Okay, the bathroom was my favorite with an original design tiled shower and a clawfoot bathtub. I could have stayed there the whole time. But, everything else is nice, too. The flower gardens and the ironwork are top notch interesting.
