The location description said 7 acres of private property- the house is right off the highway so you hear cars all day and night driving by- not as secluded as the description. The outdoor seating was not comfortable and pretty run down. The outdoor shower, disgusting and should NOT be listed as an amenity. The house appeared clean, but sheets were covered in dog hair and dirt in the guest room downstairs- they had to be washed before they could be slept on. The coffee maker was full of mold and a filter with old coffee that looked to have been there for months. There were mice that ran across the kitchen counters at night ( you could hear them scurrying around) and upstairs. LOTS. The side door (french door) had a door knob lock, no deadbolt. When checked from the inside- it would appear "unlocked" but when you shut the door, it would lock. My friend and I got locked out at midnight, the host suggested I break a window because she didn't want to wake up the house cleaner or offer him cash that I had ($100) to drive the hour and help us. No locksmith available or even in existence in the area- had to call the Sherriff's office to get help. The host was zero help. The pillows in the master bedroom were covered in dust and dog hair. The mattress was EXTREMELY firm and uncomfortable. I shared this information with her about the cabin and she never responded. This is the 3rd trip I've taken this year and stayed in a VRBO listing in Arkansas. WORST CABIN EVER! DESCRIPTION DOES NOT MATCH THE ACTUAL SPACE!

    Manager's Response:

Hi Aly, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
    - We were surprised to hear your feedback as we were unaware of any cleanliness concerns you may have had during your stay. We use a cleaning service to have our home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival, and wish you had reached out to the guest contact we would have done everything we could to address your concerns so that you could enjoy our home. We can confirm that our cleaning services had all duvets professionally cleaned the week prior to your stay. We agree, finding coffee grounds in the coffee maker was unacceptable and we apologize, we have since spoken with our cleaning service to ensure this does not recur for future travelers.
    - We do include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home prior to booking. We are next to a large cattle ranch and both properties are about one-tenth of a mile off Rte 221, which can be busy but we've never noticed the noise.
    - We have the home professionally treated by a pest control company monthly. We take our guest feedback seriously and after hearing your concerns we have since had our pest control company do full exclusion work on the property to remedy the problem and can confirm that the issue was remedied.
    - During fall we take most of the outdoor furniture to the garage so protect them from the elements. The outdoor shower is fun but rustic.
    - When you reached out after 10:30 at night to make me aware you had locked yourself out, I promptly responded and reached out to our cleaning person who unfortunately I did not get a response from, at which point I did offer to break a window so you could gain entry as the second spare key that is left as a back up for incidents such as this, you informed me you had removed as you were scared someone would break into the home.
    - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

  • Our favorite fall retreat

My husband, three boys, and I absolutely fell in love with this cabin. This was our second time staying in the cabin during the fall time, and it’s become my favorite escape.

The cabin felt like our second home, I loved being away from the crowds, but also close to things. The cabin is beautiful, but what won my heart are the comfortable beds.

We plan to return next fall!

  • Amazing Cabin near Table Rock! Definitely coming back!!

The cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures. We had an amazing stay. The location was awesome- close to Table Rock, Branson, Eureka Springs and Rolling Rock State Park. We didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to have our own space. Wonderful cabin, decor, AC, comfortable furniture and a big soaker tub. It was a great stay. Great hosts too. They had everything you need and didn’t think of! Thanks!!!!

  • Relaxing and Enjoyable

A much needed get away with friends and our dogs. Lovely house enjoyed cooking dinner every night in the beautiful kitchen and house was comfortable and well stocked. Was able to take day trips to Beaver Lake, Eureka Springs and loved Dogwood Canyon. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

  • Perfect getaway

Everything was perfect. The cabin is beautiful, the lot is beautiful, and it's location was perfect. Far out enough that you feel secluded, but still within 10-15 of town. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others!
