5/5 Every thing about this property screamed NEW. From the fabulously decorated rooms and porches to the kitchen ware. Plenty of seating in different areas if you need alone time but still enough space for a group gathering too. The fire pit area is too nice for s’mores but comfortable place to relax and watch the ramp happenings. We brought a 21 foot bass boat that we weren’t comfortable backing down the inclined driveway. Ended up not being a problem since the Waterfront ramp is across the lake from the house. We just put the boat in, tied to the new dock and parked the trailer at the house. The water was deep enough at the dock which was a concern of ours since the lake had already been drawn down. The house is very peaceful and cozy with spacious bedrooms, a bathroom for each, great outdoor areas and electric fireplaces in the living room and primary bedroom. We didn’t fish from the dock but saw several fish caught by passing fishermen. The house is within 20 minutes of Unclaimed Baggage and Mike’s in Guntersville if you don’t fish. There are also several cute shops and chain store shopping nearby. For us this was the perfect location and a very comfortable stay.
