Wonderful Experience

Sketchy neighborhood
3/5 Called the house guest when traveling to see if the check in time was central or eastern time but couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Went to the property after 4 on central time and entered the house and the security alarm went off. Was able to find a number to call in a Vrbo email to contact someone. The police arrived, and eventually got the alarm turned off. Several hours later I received calls from the host guest and property owner apologizing and asking if everything was okay. After that episode everything went well. The neighborhood is sketchy so you worry about your vehicle while you’re there, but the house is nice.

Lovely, spacious, updated old home with southern charm
5/5 Great place to stay for us on an Auburn Game Day weekend. Very spacious, had all we needed. We mostly used it as a place to crash, but would have been plenty of space to hang or enjoy a meal with extra friends along. The home is old, which gives it its charm, but that means not every fixture or feature was perfectly finished. Owner was communicative and responsive. A lovely basket of towels and toiletries was on each bed for us. Nightlights in each room were helpful. Neighbors were friendly. We loved Johnny's NY Pizza in the cute downtown area.
