  • Terrible Communication


    The property was ok (at best) but the information provided by and communication from the rental company (Evolve Properties) was the worst. No WIFI, no tv remotes that worked, plug-ins and light switches not working, chairs with legs about to fall off, no welcome package (as promised), smoke detectors just thrown under the sink, a kettle that did not work, and more. We had to take time off from our vacation to let in the WIFI vendor to get it working. The local property manager was the worst I've ever encountered. Did not return calls or texts and was very unconcerned about any of the above issues. Definitely will not be back to this rental and would caution everyone to think twice before renting from Evolve Properties. After we returned home, and sent an email to them, they did not seem to care about any of the issues that we pointed out.

We recognize that this was an inconvenience during your vacation, and we will ensure that in the future, such matters are handled more efficiently, by our management team, to prevent disruption to our guests' plans.
    - We understand your frustration with the furniture and are glad to inform you that we have since tightened the legs of the chairs to ensure they are secure. We also want to clarify that the issue with the TV remotes was a temporary problem with the cable service provider, primarily affecting the living room, and has since been resolved.
    - Regarding the light switches and plug-ins, we have addressed the light fixture failure that was causing the issue, ensuring all electrical fittings are now in proper working order.
    - We have reviewed our listing to ensure accuracy and confirm that while we offer a starter package for convenience, we do not advertise a welcome package. We apologize for any misunderstanding in this regard. - Your safety is of utmost importance to us, and we want to reassure you that the smoke detectors in the unit are fully operational, complemented by a commercial-grade sprinkler system for added safety.
    - Your feedback has been invaluable in highlighting areas for improvement, particularly in communication and response times from our property management team. We are committed to working with Evolve and the local property manager to enhance our processes and ensure immediate attention to our guests' needs and concerns.
    - While we regret that your stay did not meet your expectations, we are grateful for the opportunity to make improvements based on your experience. We hope the discount offered reflects our commitment to your satisfaction and our appreciation for helping us improve.

    Everything was good except only 1 roll of TP was provided, almost put us in a bind Would definitely stay again

This helps us keep costs down and allows us to provide an affordable stay for our guests. There is a small store just up the road we shop at (Sassy Bass) they have groceries and most other items to provide for a comfortable stay. Thanks again for staying with us and enjoying our wonderfully secluded beach and condo."
