  The house was great, the area was great! Not as populated as Gulf Shoes and not really convenient to any grocery stores but quaint and quiet.

  Our experience was great, we had a great time. The place was the perfect place to stay. Last year we stayed at West Beach Boulevard, but this place and location was much better for us.

  We also appreciate your feedback regarding the dishwashing detergent. I understand how having a medium-sized supply could be more convenient, particularly in a space where everything is a bit more widespread. The items provided in the home upon arrival are courtesy items left by our housekeepers to help you get through the first 24 hours of your stay. As with all Alabama beach homes rented in the greater Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach areas, guests are expected to purchase their own toiletries, laundry, and food items for each stay.   The neighborhood was quiet and the place was clean. Just steps to the beach and the community pool! The place could be updated some.

  It was overall pretty good. The dryer needs to be fixed/ the vent tore a few pieces of clothes. The can opener doesn’t work, so we had to go buy a can opener. There is no cable, so we weren’t able to watch the sports we wanted to. The house is in a great location and was very clean.

• Love Ft Morgan!

  This was our 8th trip to Ft Morgan, our first to this property. We’ve stayed in everything from a condo to a 5BR on the beach. It’s all great. This house had everything we needed. Steps to the beach, a pool, room for all. The teen boys spent post beach time in the hall bunks which made us laugh. One thing we really loved was the front porch with morning and afternoon sun and the back porch with evening sun and a view of the bay. Absolutely gorgeous. If you come to Ft Morgan, stop at Walmart on 59 and get your supplies. Bring liquor from home because Alabama is not cheap. This house is 20 miles from Walmart but there is a Dollar General grocery about 10 miles away. Don’t expect a lot of go carts, ice cream parlors, or restaurants. The joy of this area is nature and family.

  Wow Julie! You really hit the nail on the head, so to speak. The real beauty of the Fort Morgan beaches is their remoteness. Families can put up their umbrellas and beach chairs and leave them on the beach until the last day. Walk West and you can reach the National Park area of Fort Morgan. Bring your bikes and bike the beach road, Ponce De Leon and then down to the Fort too. But yes, come prepared. We always bring breakfast, lunch and beverages. Sassy Bass has and excellent hot meat and three lunch counter when you want to change it up from sandwiches.
