3/5 This VRBO has some good qualities, but I personally won't be staying here again. Although there is a cleaning fee, guests are still required to strip the bed and take out the trash, which raises the question: What exactly is the cleaning fee covering? I come on vacation to relax, not to clean. Additionally, no trash bags were provided to replace the ones we took out.
The property also has several maintenance issues that need immediate attention. The front door isn't very secure and could easily be kicked open. The floors were sticky when we arrived. The main bathroom lacks a tub spout diverter, so the water doesn't flow properly to the shower. The light fan in the second bedroom was not working, the closet door in the main room was broken and inconvenient, and the sink in the master bedroom bathroom is too small.
Overall, while the place has potential, it needs better upkeep.

Owner's response: "Levette, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
- We like most short-term rentals ask our renters to perform a few things before they leave. It is standard practice to ask for the beds to be stripped so that we know which beds were slept in. We also ask that the trash be taken out so that whatever is thrown does not start to smell. The fee that is paid for cleaning is for the cleaners to do a thorough cleaning and we feel this is fair, we hope this gives the housekeeper a head start on their job. We apologize if this was inconvenient for you.
- We sent you a text message that we would be dropping off some supplies at the carport for the housekeeper, you did respond thanking us for reaching out.
- We lived in the house for two years and we never had an issue with the door. No one has ever tried to kick the door in and we're pretty sure it never will. Our property is in a very safe neighborhood with kind and wonderful neighbors. The door is also equipped with a standard deadbolt.
- Our housekeeper does a wonderful job and we keep a close eye to ensure the home is 100% clean and sanitized. We wish you had brought this to our attention while you were in the home.
- Yes, the master bathroom is tiny, but it works great for what is needed.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."Good
