From the Owner: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand that encountering a bug indoors can be unsettling, and we’re sorry for any discomfort this may have caused. The home is located in a wooded area near a lake, and with the recent heavy rainfall, it’s possible that a wood or water bug may have entered through the front door, especially if it was opened at night while the lights were on, which can attract insects.
While we were unable to offer a refund for the early checkout, we did take immediate action by consulting with our pest control professional, who has since returned to the property and performed an additional treatment to ensure the home remains well-protected.
