Wasilla House
5/5 Very nice home!! Kept thinking the inside of the house was very nice, but the outside/front yard/back yard needed more attention, and the railings needed a paint job.
The front door lock was not simple to figure out - took about 10 minutes to figure out the lock & door combination. First thought we had come to the wrong address!
We soon texted the property manager about some window blinds that were broken and in need of repair. The windows were very nice, looking out to the backyard & lake front. But if we had wanted to use the window blinds in the main living room we would not have been able to, the blinds were inoperable, stuck in the "UP" position, the cords used to operate the blinds were broken and not even attached to the blinds. We could see outside the home but would not be able to block anyone's view of the inside of the home.
When we arrived the garbage bin was full with at least three, maybe four, bags of trash. When we left on Thursday morning, we had taken the trash bin to the street, added our one bag of garbage to the side of the bin, and hoped the trash would get picked up.
At least the cleaning crew was already outside the house when we left the house.
Our stay was very nice and we highly recommend the house - we just hope the owner starts working on the yards.

Plenty of bang for your buck
5/5 Amazing property on the lake with an amazing view. Highly recommend. It's crazy how much more bang you get for your buck in Wasilla vs. Anchorage.

Lovely and Comfortable Home
5/5 This is a great home away from home. The house is well equipped and the views are beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone to have space to sleep and the family room and dining room were perfect for entertaining and enjoying a rainy day. The lake was nice, but Alaska lakes are really the kind you jump off the dock to going swimming.
