  • Extremely Comfortable with Amazing Hosts!

    We absolutely loved our time here. The place is huge with way more than enough space for the two of us. Everything was comfortable, from the couch and beds, to the heating, and the renovated bathroom with nice mood lighting.

    The hosts were amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay in their place perfect. I don't have enough good things to say about them, they were quick to respond, and just exceptionally kind.

    The location is close to town and the airport, but just out far enough so you get to experience the nature and beauty of Alaska from the airbnb.

    We can't wait to come back!

    No dish washer And a strnage noise in the back bedroom all night

    Owner's response: "Fred, We're happy to hear that everything was okay while you were at the property. We're sorry you had a couple of issues.
    We do not have a dishwasher listed as one of the amenities in the home.
    Regarding the noise in the back bedroom, it is the baseboard heat. It's one of the things that talks back and I guess you have to get used to it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    We are glad that you enjoyed your stay otherwise. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for those 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

  • Great home in a great location!

    I stayed at the Chena Ridge house for business.

    The house is easy to find and only 8 minutes from my work location in Fairbanks.

    Coming from the Puget Sound area, this location was a nice change from what I am used to.

    The home is welcoming, clean, tidy, and private.

    I enjoyed my 23 night stay here and will definitely book here in the future.

    The free wifi was reliable and enabled me to work while at the house.

    Bobbie is a very accommodating and personable host.

    She was attentive, and answered all of my questions while I was there.

    Chena Ridge tough to find!!! Got there and no way to contact anyone. phone number no help. Was not able to stay there.. had to find another place for 3 nights in Fairbanks. I am old school and travel with an old style flip phone. this all was, too, slick for me. not everyone is dependent all the worlds high tech.. I am not.. What is going to happen when the "system goes down" or worse when the SWITCH is turned off Just returned to Tampa and saw I was billed just the same! So now what?

    - We understand how important communication is to our guests before and during their stay, so we were confused to hear your feedback about communication. I myself, had attempted to reach out to you prior to check-in but with no response. We have since checked for any and all communication and could not find any missed calls, emails or text messages, in addition, we followed up with Evolve to see if you had attempted to reach out there, but again no communication could be found. Had we been aware of any issues of you locating the property we would have been more than happy to help you and assist you with directions.
    We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
