  The ultimate relaxing weekend, my partner and I enjoyed every moment. Favorite activity was kayaking around the lake, watching the fish jump, enjoying the end of the Alaskan summer. This would be a great place to stop on the way to or from Valdez, and we will definitely make this a yearly getaway. Right off the highway but still private, didn’t see anyone else on the lake. Clean and fully stocked with everything we didn’t know we even needed. Super kind hosts who obviously love showing off this state and the cabin life- the property feels truly Alaskan- rustic but beautiful, quirky touches, outdoorsy- and the pride of ownership shows through. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable trip to Lodge 88, we will be back!

• We loved our stay--wish it could have been longer

  We had a great time at the cabin and enjoyed the outdoor beauty of it's surrounding area. Our time there was ideal--from kayaking on the lake, hiking, a day trip to Valdez, fishing, relaxing in the hammock, to our fish fry and smores on the open fire. The cabin had everything we needed a wonderful stay.

• Fantastic getaway

  This place was the best! Classic lodge by the lake. Everything you need is there! The whole family enjoyed our little stay of 2 nights but we would have loved to have spent longer there. Definatly recommend. Easy communication and instructions about your stay.

  The property is awesome! Love the location near adventure and great experiences right on site. Had lots of campfires, boated and fished a lot. It was excellent!
