LOOKS ARE DECEIVING - THE NOISE!
2/5 When initially entering the apartment, we were very pleased with the aesthetics and overall appearance. We were allowed to check in early and were settled by 4pm. After a long and tiring few days of traveling, at 4pm, I decided to take a nap before grabbing dinner. At approximately 5:30pm, I was woken by loud banging and clanging noises that seemed to be radiating through the bed. I had no idea what was happening. The loud noises continued; making it impossible to sleep. We went out for dinner and returned to the same noise! Finally at 12:20am, I called the owner and complained. The noise stopped 20-30 minutes later. The following morning, I spoke with the owner and was informed that the next door restaurant kitchen shares a common wall with the master bedroom. The owner stated they have tried to minimize the kitchen noise and hopefully the second night would be better. The second night, same noises and same volume. Constant metal banging, rolling sounds, and what sounded like doors slamming. I complained to the owner again the second night at 10:35pm. The noise continued until midnight. Our third and last night we experienced the same loud noises until approximately midnight. Very Unsettling!
Another issue is the homeless people that hang around the entrance to the apartment; making entering and exiting uncomfortable. Also, the restaurant staff use the entrance area to the apartment as their designated smoking area.
Considering this property cost approximately $1500 for 3 nights, I am disappointed and feel deceived.
In town comfort
5/5 We loved our time in this rental. The unit was exceptionally clean and cared for, more than we normally see in rental units. There also were finishing touches beyond what is typical that really make this feel like a home away from home. A very nice city unit that is also comfortably lit from inside. Additionally, the owners were very kind and when we had any needs they were met whether we deserved it or not.

49th State Trip
5/5 Daughter is hitting all the states and the 49th was her 49th! Loved our winter stay! Great location and great apartment! Was wonderful! The fireplace was on and greeted us when we arrived. Had a problem with parking but our host was great and quick with a solution! Would for sure stay here again!
