  We were totally disappointed in our unit. There was no ocean view and the unit needs some upgrades. The people from Diamond were of very little help to no help at all. They did not send us our QR badges before we got there. We got in late the night we arrived and without the QR we had a hell of a time getting to our unit. We arrived about 10 and it was after 2AM before we finally got in. Of course Diamond would not answer their phone that late so if it hadn't been for some friendly guards, who spoke very little English, we finally beg our way into the complex, then found a guy closing his bar who spoke English and knew the area well enough to help us locate where our unit was. Our experience was not favorable and we will have problems working with Evolve in the future.

  Hi Earl, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
  - First, although the unit is clearly not a two-star unit as your review states, I want to thank you for your review. We understand that while the patio furniture is nice and fully functional, the sun and jungle take a toll, and we are in the substantial process of updating it back to the top of the line. I want to clarify though that the unit itself is one of the most well decorated and meticulously maintained in Mexico, and that has not changed. It also offers a breathtaking view of the ocean from the upper deck, which I enjoy every morning at sunrise when I often stay there. Nobody said it was an oceanfront view, but it is truly one of the best in TAO and one of the highlights of the property.
  - Before your arrival, you were sent a comprehensive Welcome email containing all essential details, including QR codes, well ahead of time to ensure a seamless check-in process. While nobody has someone sitting waiting for you at 10 pm, the procedure for late check-in with the guards was outlined in the welcome materials, and the QR codes were sent multiple times. I am sorry you missed these details and it frustrated you.
  - I sincerely wish you had contacted me directly, as I made sure to personally reach out to you and offered help multiple times before your stay, but heard nothing (positive or negative) during the entire three-week stay. As always, I am fully committed to assisting guests in any way possible. I'm thankful for the assistance provided by Diamond and the guards in helping you locate the unit and get checked in, even at the unusual time late at night. Our main aim is to provide a hassle-free experience for all our guests, and I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in accessing the unit.
  
  While we don’t feel that the mixup on checking in should warrant two stars for the entire unit, we do appreciate your frustration with that issue. That said, the prior reviews provide much more detail about the fantastic unit location, décor, and quality of the unit and the surrounding amenities. We will continue to truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

• Amazing property + great amenities!

  The photos did not do this property justice, it is an unbelievable property. The community is really safe, and there is a great pool, plus a shuttle that takes you to the awesome community beach club. The property is fully stocked, so many spices and coffee and everything you need to make a meal, and overall just enjoy your time. The Guest Contact was super responsive as well. I can't recommend this property enough!!

  This luxury apartment situated in a residential area on the Bahia Golf course is a ideal location for rest and relaxation. The apartment is quiet and we really enjoyed the balcony and jacuzziThe Akumal beach is only 6 mins drive away.Great place, I'm sure we will go back

• sleek, beautiful condo only 5 minutes from town and beach

  The condo was sleek, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The master bed is so comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. There are 2 outdoor areas and the deck upstairs has an awesome view of the jungle. It is only a 5 minute drive to Akumal beach where you will find all of the restaurants, shopping and activities. It's only 30 minutes from Tulum, and 10 minutes from Dos Ojos Cenote. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.
