We absolutely loved our stay on Smith island in this adorable cottage. Laura the host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Being first timers to the island, I had several questions that were answered very quickly. The cottage was clean, well stocked (which is important for this type of unique experience) and decorated very cute. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed the scenery of the island. We will definitely be back!

From the owner: "Thank you so much, Carrie! I’m so glad the cottage was a perfect fit for your anniversary trip and your first visit to Smith Island. I’ll be sure to share your kind words with Laura—she’s always happy to help and truly cares about making each guest feel at ease. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the cozy charm of the home, the friendly neighbors, and the peaceful scenery that makes this place so unique. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!"
My sister and I have always wanted to visit Smith Island. This house was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable, great location and terrific host. The golf cart was such a huge bonus. We had amazing water tours, walked, relaxed, spotted more birds than we could count. Everyone on the island was beyond friendly. Just had a wonderful time which was amplified by the great accommodations!

From the owner: “Thank you so much, Cindy! I’m so happy you and your sister finally got to check Smith Island off your list—and that the house made your trip even more special. It sounds like you truly soaked in everything the island has to offer: the wildlife, the water tours, the peaceful pace, and those wonderful locals, especially Laura, who is a terrific host! I’m thrilled the golf cart added to the fun, and I’d love to welcome you both back anytime for another island adventure!"
The cottage was very homey, pretty and clean. The furnishings and color scheme have the cottage a wam feel. What was a particularly nice touch was the cute doggie towel on the bench by the front door and doggie bags for clean up. The dog towel came in handy since my dear darling rolled on a rotten duck egg. The host was very friendly and accessible if needed. Will definitely stay there again.

From the Owner: "Thank you so much, Suzanne! I’m so glad you and your furry sidekick enjoyed the cottage, and I have to laugh… that doggie towel has definitely saved the day for a few adventurous pups, but rolling in a rotten duck egg might be a new one! I’m happy the place felt homey and welcoming for both of you, and I appreciate your kind words. You’re welcome back anytime for another (hopefully less messy!) island stay."
Enjoyed Smith Island , great place to stay, friendly people, loved the golf cart a real plus! Flies and mosquitoes were terrible, restaurant food was just OK! Make sure you get food and supplies before coming!

From the Owner: "Thanks so much, Millicent! I’m glad you enjoyed your time on Smith Island and that the golf cart helped you get around. It really is a game-changer for exploring. And I appreciate the honest feedback, too. The island’s charm comes with a few pesky bugs now and then, and stocking up ahead of time is definitely smart advice. Thanks again for staying with us, and you’re always welcome back for another island escape!"
