  Views are beautiful of the lake. The house is huge. Remodling is very nice, BUT not done . Driveway and parking is awful.

  From the Owner: "We appreciate the feedback and are always looking for ways to improve. The driveway is scheduled to be paved within the next 4 to 6 weeks, and we also have plans to enhance the exterior of the property.
  Due to the nature of the lot the house was built on, there are three different levels of parking available:
  -One area is on the grass off the road by the mailbox and can accommodate 2–3 cars, depending on size.
  -There is a space for one car on the main level, near the entrance to the house.
  -Guests can also use the concrete driveway to access the lowest level of the home, where the garage is located. The garage connects to the game room and bunk room (4th bedroom) and can fit one large car or possibly two smaller ones. In front of the garage, there is space for an additional 2–3 cars.
  For those comfortable with the steepness of the concrete driveway, additional parking is available there as well."

  Newly remodeled house that mostly fit our needs. Start with the “needs to improve” and finish strong. Exterior of the property stills needs work - front yard needs mowing, weeding, walkway improvement and gravel driveway graded. The driveway into the garage and inside the garage needed cleaning. Still had construction trash not completely cleaned up. I found a broom and swept plus picked up nails. I wanted to park one vehicle in the garage as we had 3 vehicles and parking is tight. There is no access to the water from the property but very good views. Our biggest disappointment was NO outdoor grill. It has a massive outdoor deck with table and seating overlooking the lake but no grill. We had planned to grill out after a full day of boating instead of heading back out to eat. Positive- The interior has been remodeled completely. The main room is large and open…great for keeping the group together as we ate and socialized. The bathrooms are large and the showers have great water pressure. It was hot and humid while we were there but the house was cool everywhere but one bedrooom on the second floor. There was new dishes, glasses, mugs, eating utensils, cooking accessories, coffee brewer, knives. New appliances…everything had that new clean look and feel. New washer and dryer we used for our beach towels. Proximity to Eddy Creek marina(5 minutes) and I-24(7-8 minutes) is a plus too.

• Lake Barkley Stay

  This house was a great place for our weekend getaway. The inside is spacious, plenty of comfy beds, bathrooms & stocked kitchen. The front yard needed a little TLC.
