  This property worked very well for our family. The Castle was close enough to the wedding venue and far enough to be away from it all. The fishing was great for the kids, we definitely spent more time outside having fun rather than watching screens. Wifi and internet worked great, but this location is a great place to disconnect unwind and enjoy.

  Fantastic property. Pictures dont do it justice. We all had a great time and the place is well stocked and offers so many options for things to do.

• Wonderfully Unique Family Getaway

  We elected to stay at the Twin Turret Farm and Castle for a quick Spring Break trip with the entire family - 15 of us, ranging in age from 4 to 68.

  From the minute we arrived, the trip was perfect. There truly was something for everyone - hiking, fishing, kayaking, a sand area for the kids to play, and numerous outdoor spaces to sit and relax.

  And inside was just as incredible. The kids felt like royalty at the "king & queen" table. The pool table, indoor pool, and darts provided lots of late night entertainment.

  There was so much space to spread out which made the stay that much more enjoyable.

  The bedrooms were all well furnished and beds were comfortable. It felt like the host had thought of everything - plenty of towels, kitchenwares of every sort, life jackets, sand toys, games, etc. Anything we needed was available to us.

  We were aware going in, but we were a bit far from civilization, so be sure to bring any food and drinks with you as a trip to town will take an hour minimum. Again, no issue, just something to be aware of. Additionally, there are steps galore inside the house. This is clearly stated in the listing, but is of note.

  Overall, we had the best time and are already coming up with excuses to go back. The pictures seriously under sell the vastness of the property (both inside and out) and the amenities provided. The newly added deck was a wonderful surprise! Looking forward to a future stay.

• Beautiful and peaceful setting

  My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful!
