Location location location!
5/5 We loved our stay here at the Tango Oaks Guest House! As others have mentioned, the location is perfect. There are so many wineries, restaurants and things to do in the Hector area on the East side of the lake. The house is equipped with everything you need, was clean and everything as described. We especially loved walking to the Adirondack chairs and seeing the beautiful sunsets in the evenings on the East side of the lake.
The only thing I would change is the traffic during the night/early morning as my dog is sensitive to noise, but did not bother my boyfriend and I. It caused my dog to bark a couple of times, but was not bothersome to us or anyone else- just an fyi if you have a dog. The road the house is on is busy and does have traffic going 50 MPH so trucks can get loud. Again, this shouldn’t deter you from staying here, just sharing for your awareness.
I hope to stay here again and I definitely recommend 5*****!

4/5 Overall, the place was great and was just what we needed for our stay in the finger lakes region. The biggest drawback is that the house sits on the main road. This was not made apparent in the online listing and you do hear all of the traffic (including throughout the night). Still, for pet-friendly places, this one was solid and was in a prime location, within walking distance of several wineries and a few farms where you pick your produce.

Perfect family getaway
5/5 We had a wonderful time at the guest house! What an adorable little farm house, with all the charm and all the things you need! We had a wonderful time and thank the Wickham family for making this little slice of heaven perfect for families to come enjoy Seneca Lake and all it has to offer!
