  • Best Unique, out of the way loding with cool nostalgic amenities

    Booked this lodging space for my wife and I and my nephew and his wife to stay during our pending visit to splahway water park for the weekend. Just like the photos, the place did not disappoint. It was a real modernized gas station Spacious and clean with cute touches of nostalgia. The jukebox worked for 6 or 7 songs before the needle got stuck on one of the records, but the site and lights still made us smile. The upper deck was a good get away area to watch the stars and the backyard area was perfect to sit and have a drink and fellowship around the working fire pit. The rooms were neat and clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and perfectly laid out for me to prepare a mini seafood boil. The wifi could have been better, but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay at all. No complaints. Perfect vacation space. I will return

  • Great Place to Relax

    Our family enjoyed our stay in Shulenburg. What a great idea to update a service station to an Airbnb! The kitchen was fully stocked with any pan, utensil, or serving item we could have needed. There was plenty of space to spread out. We look forward to visiting in cooler weather so we can enjoy the wonderful outdoor areas.

  • An Incredible Experience

    5 Canadians walk into a gas station. I’ll cut to the punchline… 11/10 experience. When you first pull into the parking lot you know that you are in for something special. Aesthetically The Sinclair is a nostalgia machine. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a beautifully finished and incredibly well appointed home. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of towels, a great kitchen with everything you could ask for, an incredibly comfortable living space. The vintage 1950’s jukebox is such a unique addition to the home. It plays a variety of songs spanning decades. The outside of the home is just as exceptional as the inside. A fully equipped backyard with a seating area, grill, fire pit and corn hole is a great way to spend a few hours in the evening with friends and family. Up on the roof there is a great deck with chairs and couches, ideal for having a cocktail or two, a conversation, and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking for a incredible home and unique property, you’ve found it!
