Their qualified and educated conservation staff is ready to teach and instill an appreciation for the natural beauty and wonder found in Pennsylvania’s elk country!
Journey to the "Top of the World," found only 20 miles away. The beautiful overlook is near the Fred Wood Trail which offers 4.57 miles of incredible rock formations and 2 stunning vistas.
Spend the day at Sinnemahoning State Park, 32 miles from 'Elk Terrace Lodge.' During the warmer months, go hiking, picnicking, boating, and fishing. In the winter months, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice skating!
Don't miss out on visiting the Kinzua Bridge State Park. In less than 56 miles you'll be able to experience a skywalk and observation deck on remaining towers of a huge, historic railway bridge over the gorge. You'll feel like you're walking on air as you gaze out over the magnificent landscape!

3/5 The house do need some updates. Wallpaper peeling off. The chair upstairs is ripped down it's side. Need dusted more. The 2 twin beds were on the floor. Hot tub work on some jets. The staircase frame is very loose. If someone fell that staircase would not stop them. We had to take all the sheets off the bed. Had to have all the dish in the dishwasher and washed. Then the cleaning fee shouldn't be so much. The neighbor were doing construction early in morning. The book says but they did not next door. Plus the place was price high for the condition.

- We’re planning an update to the upstairs bathroom, where you noticed the peeling wallpaper, and are also looking into options to replace the worn chair covers.
- The cleaning team will be reminded to pay extra attention to dusting, as we aim to keep every area fresh and ready for guests.
- The two twin beds are set on the floor to best fit the layout of that space due to the sloped ceiling and are simply to provide additional bedding options for guests.
- The hot tub jets were recently serviced, and we had our maintenance partner check the jets on the hot tub and confirm they are working well so we are uncertain of the issue you experienced during your stay.
- The staircase railing will be inspected to confirm that it’s secure and safe for all guests.
- As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, such as placing used dishes in the dishwasher, starting a cycle, and removing used linens from the beds, as part of checkout. This helps the cleaning team prepare for the next guest’s arrival,
- While the peaceful setting is usually a highlight of this location, we apologize for the noise from nearby construction, which is unfortunately outside of our control.
