A majority of Evolve donations are given through our philanthropy program, Building Hospitality, which commits to donating 1% of every booking made at evolve.com. To date, we’ve donated more than $650,000, and we anticipate passing $1 million in 2023.
In-kind donations include, but are not limited to, paid employee volunteer time. The exact amount of total donations may be more or less than our estimate, depending on the value of eligible direct bookings that check in over that timeframe.
Building Hospitality is our flagship philanthropy program. Through this program, we commit to donating a portion of all bookings made at evolve.com to support safe, accessible homes and communities nationwide. Since starting Building Hospitality, we have expanded our social responsibility initiatives to help our community, people, and planet even more.
Our initial commitment through Building Hospitality is to donate 1% of the total nightly rates before any taxes and fees for completed stays booked directly with Evolve. This will be made through cash and in-kind donations and there will be no cap on the amount donated.
In the example above, the total nightly rates amount to $2,343.00 before any taxes and fees. Therefore, Evolve would commit to a donation value of $23.43 (1% of $2,343.00) related to this stay after check-in.
