Cute and quaint, perfect get-a-way…
5/5 The cottage is well decorated and has everything you need down to the last detail. Only stayed two night but wished we could’ve stayed longer. We will definitely go back soon. The SpaceX shuttle launch a few miles away was a surprise we didn’t expect. It shook the whole cottage like an earthquake at 8am which we knew about the previous night but were not prepared for the power and intensity. Still, even with the spring breakers crossing over to South Padre Island through the week, we were able to find time when traffic was low during the early hours to explore the island. We also ate at Josephine’s and Joe’s Oyster Bar Restaurants nearby on the Port Isabell side, which have amazing food and not expensive at all but get there early to avoid the lines because they get busy. HEB down the street was also convenient as well as a Wal-Mart. The $90 amenities fee is the only expense we didn’t expect but if we had used them it would’ve been worth it. Over all a great rental experience.
Perfect waterfront cottage
5/5 My wife and I stayed at this cozy cottage once again. We had stayed here several years ago and thought about coming down to the coast again and felt this was the perfect cottage for our visit. It exceeded our expectations again. The cottage is so quaint and cozy, and it has been redone with a lot of updated materials and fun appliances and furniture. The owners have tastefully decorated the cottage. It’s in a terrific location to get down to the beach quickly, as well as to good restaurants and shopping. The cottage has everything you need for your visit. Everything was clean and immaculate. We so enjoyed our visit, and we will definitely be back soon.
2/5 Omg, when we arrive to this pretty small place our first experience was cockroach everywhere, we report on the front desk.. they said you nees to report to the owner.. we can't stay in the place.
