Albrightsville Home
4/5 The property was very comfortable for our family’s stay. The house has been nicely renovated. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with loads of plates, glasses, silverware, etc., and plenty of extras that made it easy for cooking. The bedrooms had comfortable beds, nice linens, plenty of extra pillows and towels. The bathrooms were clean and had basic supplies; hair dryers in each bathroom a nice/appreciated touch. We enjoyed access to the lake and use of the kayaks; lake/beach toys were provided with house. We also enjoyed the fire pit (wood provided) and hot tub. The community pool was small and when we were there, it was in need of a cleaning, but if it’s not too crowded, then it is a nice option. We enjoyed seeing all the deer and fawns and even saw a black bear. We were able to see many nearby sites/attractions without having to drive far. The security at the community is very tight/strict. This is important to know because all guests and vehicles must be registered four days in advance. This meant that, unfortunately, we were not able to have a guest for dinner one day because the person was not on our “approved” list. Plan appropriately.
