• Nice Getaway - needs some care

  We enjoyed the rental, it was size appropriate and cozy. The fireplace was perfect. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews as I would have been warned about the lop sided, mold/slime covered deck (which is the only way to access the house), it is very dangerous, slippery even without icy conditions. My sister feel down the slippery back steps, the salt does not help on slime/rot. The weekend we went it was 50 degrees, rainy - the wood was slimy slippery. I'm shocked it is allowed to be rented in that condition, Evolve should really evaluate for the safety of renters. The sliding doors do not open, the screens were all ripped and shabby. The sofa is in bad need of replacement and minor things need updating, the stove top piece comes off, the LIGHTING is dim - need to add lamps with LED bulbs to brighten the house - it is very dark at night, especially over the stove and kitchen area when preparing meals. I hope this feedback helps to update as the house is a cute, spacious rental if these items were fixed.

• Sad little crooked house

  Unsafe deck that leans and is slippery with mold(almost fell).Reason for renting was the fireplace and it didn't work. Propane tank read empty, owner said it still had 45 lbs but nobody fixed it. TV remotes w/o batteries. Bought batteries but remotes didn;t match tv's. Instruction book needs updating. Mentioned gas grill, only found a rusty charcoal grill nobody would ever use.Instructions never mentioned I needed to turn on 6 breakers to get heat. Spent first night cold.Over all just disappointing. A lot of money for nothing. I'll go back to ABnB.

• Weekend stay

  Very nice area however issues upon arrival and reach out to the contact with no reply. Door was hard to get into with the keypad once in the cabin is smelled of cat pee. The one sliding glass door didn’t open or lock. The lights were very dim we could barely see. The toilet handle was broken and we had to lift from inside toilet to flush.
