• Amazing location, but not clean

  The bed upstairs was not made and the sheets were still in the washing machine. That leads me to believe the cleaner didn't finish before our check in. I also reached out about the broken fan because it's summer and 90+ outside, but I never received a response. I would definitely recommend to anybody who's not hot natured or going in the winter time. But you really need to speak to your cleaning company/person about finishing the laundry and making sure clean bedding is available before check in.

  We also arrived at night and since the road has no lights, I would recommend adding parking instructions so the next person doesn't get stuck on the narrow road trying to turn around in the dark.

  - Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Our primary goal is to create a relaxing and comfortable experience at the cabin for all our guests. 
  - We acknowledge that the instructions to the property may not have been clear for those unfamiliar with navigating the winding back roads. We are working on making modifications to ensure greater clarity for future guests.
  - While North Carolina weather can be hot and humid, our cabin generally benefits from the natural tree cover, which helps keep it cooler. However, we acknowledge that the loft area can get warm during unusually hot spells. To enhance guest comfort, we will be looking into providing portable fans for those occasions. We're also following up with our Guest Contact to ensure all guest issues are promptly responded to, addressed and resolved.
  - Finally, we've also discussed the concerns with our cleaner, who has assured us that the unmade bed and linens in the dryer were oversights. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or discomfort these issues may have caused during your stay.

• Honeymoon hideaway

  We loved having our own private space that was peaceful and quiet. The sounds of the roaring creek were super relaxing. The location was convenient to many attractions.

  Would have been 5 stars but some outdoor cleanup had to be done after we arrived. Property manager was expedient and helpful! Cabin was adorable and so peaceful! Everything was clean and tidy inside. But we had to purchase a can opener. We enjoyed an outdoor campfire, sitting on the porch listening to the river below, listening to records when it rained or watching dvd’s! Really enjoyed having this as home base for trips to Biltmore, Blue Ridge Pkwy and GSMNP!
