A rustic retreat
3/5 The location was ideal as sitting on the porch allowed for direct view of the ocean and access to it by walkway! The kitchen was well stocked although lighting at stove was limited. The property advertisement should include coffee pot, oven, and dryer. The bathrooms were clean and adequate and beds were comfy. The living room remotes do not work properly. The railings and porch in particular need to be repaired soon before there is an accident as all boards were weathered and railing on walkway broke loose during our stay. Luckily no one was hurt! Overall it was a comfortable, relaxing weekend that we were thrilled our dog could enjoy with us!

4/5 The property was quaint and the perfect size for myself, my husband, our daughter, and a small dog. There were a few things left behind from the previous renter, which is why I could not give 5 stars for cleanliness. The porch was my favorite part of the house. Morning coffee while staring at the ocean was great. The area in front of the house is a great spot for shelling. I found 4 sea biscuits on one of my morning walks. We had a wonderful time and would rent again if given the opportunity.

5/5 Old beach cottage with updated bathrooms. Having a walk way to the beach was the selling point for the cottage.

Charming cabin
4/5 This is my second stay in this rustic charming cabin. Reminds me of my childhood spent on beach visits in similar cabins in Texas. The place has everything you'd need including ac/heat, washer/dryer, bath towels, though the paper goods are restricted. I even placed a pick up order with Food Lion grocery, very convenient.
Having morning coffee in a rocking chair on back deck was my happy place. Stroll to beach on private boardwalk was another. The location is prime block number for shelling on Holden. The nearby seafood markets were great.
I can't wait to come back again!
