  My family and I had a nice relaxing Halloween weekend at the lake. It did have a lot of spiders so if you're afraid of them this place is not for you. Beautiful decorated and so close to the water

• Some ups and downs. BOAT OWNERS BEWARE!!!

  I will start by saying this is a cute little cozy house. The physical location is nice and the actual house is exactly as shown.

  First problem was the property wasn't ready when we showed up. Had to wait until after check in time to have it cleaned. Beds are HORRIBLE. Even the young ones were saying it

  THE DOCK IS NOT SAFE FOR BOATS OR PEOPLE DURING BUSY TIMES. The amount of water turbulence at high traffic times is insane. The slip cannot be used because the boat lift broken in the "up" position and appears to have been that way for quite some time. When tying your boat (or attempting to) you will see there are no cleats to secure the boat to. The entire dock moves with the wake and so does your boat. Dock needs stabilized, and sprayed for spiders. Wood is old and extremely slick.

  Would not stay here with a boat again.

  Hi Nikki, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: Although the main channel provides great views of the lake and boat traffic, it can be very rough water during peak activity days. We also recognize that the dock could be better and have ordered a new dock complete with a 32' boat well, dual jet ski slip, and sun deck for your next visit. The larger dock will absorb the rough waters better for an improved experience.
  We will also evaluate the mattresses to ensure they are a neutral firmness as preferences vary. We apologize that they weren't comfortable enough to enjoy. Please give us a chance next season to improve your experience!
