  Lovely Earl Young Stone Cottage. Beautiful. Comfortable. Historic. No complaints. Would be perfect for small family or two couples. We loved the gas fireplace and wonderful Lake Michigan views. Every evening at dusk we would watch a large family of deer and a big fat raccoon wander down to the lake looking for dinner. It was great fun. My teen son and I were visiting in the off season so it was a quiet time in the region, but this is in a wonderful quiet location about a mile from downtown shops and restaurants and a 20 minute drive from Petoskey. Before we even left, we were already talking about coming back!

  This place is like a home away from home for me. I’m a returning guest, and I hope to return again soon. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the view of the lake is spectacular. I can highly recommend!

• nice place busy road

  on check in had difficulty with the key box called the contact number twice received no answer..place is as advertised except the road in front is quite busy..evolve is impossible to contact i have not received my security deposit back and tried to contact them it is impossible

We are always committed to addressing any guest issues promptly and efficiently, so we regret any inconvenience you may have experienced.
  - We confirmed that our contact information is correctly published in the pre-stay instructions. We checked our records for phone calls, voicemails, texts, and emails, but did not find any communication from you on the day of your check-in.
  - In situations like this, we would have been more than willing to send someone to the home or to provide you information about the backup lockbox on the other side of the property. We're thankful that, despite the reported delay, you were able to gain entry to the home before the scheduled check-in time.
  We are committed to addressing and resolving this matter promptly. Thanks for choosing our property for your stay. We truly go above and beyond and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
