Perfect Family Friendly Retreat
5/5 We enjoyed our long weekend in Cadillac! The space and location was ideal for our group that included two families with seven young kids. One floor (vs multiple) with lots of beds to choose from allowed our group to comfortably sprawl out while keeping little ones close. Everything was considerably new. Access to a washer and dryer was very handy! The hot tub was a great perk for entertaining in the still chilly Michigan weather, too!
A few things worth noting…
We did walk into a cleaning issue upon arrival but John, the host, and the cleaning team were prompt and made it right. Some basic items were missing or broken (not many pot holders, few kitchen towels, no foil or plastic bags, a cracked strainer). We made due but it would have been more difficult for a longer stay. Blinds or curtains on the doors to the driveway would be nice for added privacy at night - fortunately there are not any close neighbors so this wasn’t a huge concern. For those with young kids, there is lots of goose poop on the grass (not faulting the owner, this obviously comes with the location, just something to be aware of when letting kids roam outside).

Truly a Special Property
5/5 Can spend a whole day just walking the trails and taking in the beauty of the property. The cabin was well stocked with everything you would need. Hot tub was fantastic as well.

Cadillac Trip
5/5 Great place to get away. We used it as a jumping off point to go skiing and to head to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Kids loved playing pool, ping pong and sitting in the hot tub.

Memorable!
5/5 We spent three days with our family from Colombia in this cabin. The place was like a home away from home in a peaceful location surrounded by nature and beauty. Accommodations were excellent, cleanness was superb, and proximity to local attractions was ideal. We were able to spend quality time with family and create memories for a lifetime. The manager as very nice and helpful. We needed access to the tv and the heater and he came right away to solve those things. He was friendly and very attentive. We recommend this location to any family looking to have a quality and special time.
