• Nice house, good location, pool has problems

  The house is really cute, well equipped and clean. Lots of little issues but probably not more than an average rental house. Things like the clock in the living room was dead, the string lights in the screened porch didn't work, there is no bedside lamp in the main bedroom, etc. The pool however, was gross. It needs a new liner and by the second day we were there the pool was green. The property contact had let me know it was cleaned on Mondays. The pool cleaner showed up on Thursday. Fortunately it did not impact my stay as the weather was such that we were not going to use the pool anyway. None the less, it needs to be fixed. Location was good, easy to get to Sandwich, Falmouth, Woods Hole and Hyannis.

• Great house

  Our family enjoyed this home. It was very clean and spacious. The bedrooms were large with great bedding. We enjoyed the pool which was clean with multiple lounge chairs to sit on. Kitchen, dining, living rooms were all one room with a nice open concept. Great location for shopping, restaurants. There is a view of the pond across the street however the access is down the street and is private so not accessible. Sasha the contact person was very professional to work with.

  This was a wonderful choice for our family vacation week in Mashpee! The house was nicely arranged, with open concept kitchen, dining, & family rooms as well as a screened porch leading to the back yard and pool. There were 4 bedrooms as depicted in the listing, one on the main floor and 3 upstairs. All of the appliances in the house were in excellent shape, which also made our ability to cook and stay on top of laundry easy - more time to play! Loved the pool - a nice step-in & shallower section before the deep end for the preschoolers. Lots of restaurants and things to do within easy driving range. Overall just what we hoped for on our first vacation on Cape Cod!

• Family Vacation

  The house has potential but leaves a lot to be desired. The property looks like it was flipped...pretty at first glance but needs someone to come in and finish the job. The positives: Large bedrooms and all new furnishings and decor. The rooms were all stocked with everything you would need-extra towels, nice bedding, fans, toiletries, etc. The kitchen had new appliances and all the creature comforts. Pet friendly- dog dishes, toys and fully fenced in yard. The pond was just a short walk down the street--you do have to fill out ppw at least 2 weeks in advance, which we did so we were able to go down and see the sunset. However, as others have mentioned this is not clear in the booking--I had to reach out an inquire.

  Living/dining area was small and only accommodates 4 people. The kitchen table was missing a chair and an outdoor plastic chair had been brought in to replace it. The outdoor area was a bit of a disaster--the lights on the patio didn't work, the screen porch was ripped and taped, the backyard was overgrown and not well kept. I have two young kids who enjoyed the pool but none of the adults wanted to go in. There was algae growing or the liner was ripped--hard to tell but the backyard definitely needs some love. The house feels more like a lake cottage than a beach house. I will say Sasha, the on-site property manager was great, very responsive and sent out people to get the trash and clean the pool.

  It has everything you need for a good vacation but if you're looking for lux this is not it.

  The house was amazing! It looked exactly as advertised. The beds were very comfortable. The house was spotless and was decorated beautifully. Anything you could possibly need was available. There was a great selection of books and games. Every bedroom had a smart tv. The walk in closet in the first floor bedroom was stocked with sunblock, aloe, bug spray. They even had an iron and steamer. The house is a pet friendly rental. There was a basket full of dog toys and the yard is fully fenced for your dog! They even provided dog food dishes. The in ground pool was great and provided a lot of fun. We had a couple of questions during our stay and our contact person always responded immediately. We had a great week and highly recommend this rental!!
