  • Not worth the price

    The location was nice, but the neighborhood looked lime a trailer park the next morning I got up. This house was not equipped for cooking. All the pots and pans had missing teflon which made me not wamt to cook. One of the bathrooms didnt work either, so 7 of us had to share a small shower. The owner texted me and asked me why we didnt clean the house. I paid a cleaning fee and did the checkout checklist. Told her she was crazy to think i was going to clean the house since I paid the cleaning fee. Will never stay there again. This was the least accomaditing place ive stayed in since i started vacationing with my family 10 years ago. Absolutely no spices, oil, or pans worth cooking on.

    Owner's response: "Nicholas, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We take great care to make sure that all our guests have what they need during their stay with us.
    - We ask all our guests to reach out if they have any issues, and we never heard from you regarding the shower. We would have been happy to have a plumber out to take care of any issues for you. We did contact you to see if you needed anything and you claimed that everything was perfect.
    - We confirmed that both showers were working fine when the cleaners were there and we have not had any complaints.
    - We do not provide spices only salt and pepper are available. We do not feel it is safe and a lot of people do not want to use something that is left behind by other guests.
    - We purchased new pots and pans in December and they are all in very good condition.
    - Like all short-term rentals, we have a check-out list, but we do not ask any of our guests to clean the home, only to leave it in the condition you get it. We would never ask or expect our guests to clean before they leave. Our check-out policies are minimal and well within industry standards. When Bianca reached out it was merely to find out if you flushed items in the toilet not to accuse you of not cleaning.

    We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

    The home was in a nice area, but a lot of issues laminate was coming off master bath tub, shower in master bath was filthy, kitchen faucet loose. Floors and counters not clean, blinds in dining room didn’t work, chewed on by other animals, internet was intermittent, and sliding screen door thrown out into yard. I called Bianca with issues and she said she would send maintenance over, but told her no. I didn’t want to worry about my dog or have to wait for them. The property should of been ready when we arrived.

    Hi there, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:  
    - We wish you had allowed our guest contact to address any of these matters during your stay. Upon connecting with her, she mentioned that you only reached out once regarding the mat in the primary tub, which she promptly provided information about and offered to fix.
    - The non-slip mat in the tub was simply coming up on one corner. We've since addressed this and we regularly replace the mats to ensure guest safety. Additionally, we've confirmed that the laminate is in good condition and doesn't require maintenance.
    - We'll inspect the faucet and tighten it if necessary. While this is a matter we haven't heard of before or since from any guest, we'll take another look and address it if needed. 
    - Upon inspection, the blinds were found to be in working order. However, there is one small bite mark on one of the blinds, which we're replacing. As a pet-friendly property, we occasionally encounter minor damage from our furry friends.
    - We thoroughly searched for anything out of place, including the sliding screen door in the backyard, but couldn't locate anything out of the ordinary.
    - Our pre-stay cleaning photos taken by our cleaners confirm that the bathrooms, floors, and counters were in a clean and guest-ready condition for your arrival.
    - We provide Cox cable at all of our properties, which are located nearby. No other guests at our other properties reported any issues at this time, and comments about this are rare unless there is a reported outage or severe storms.
    We do all we can to provide an excellent guest experience and we look forward to hosting many satisfied guests.

    The house was clean and amazing. Backyard was big enough for our dog. The bed could be updated they were all hard except for the master one. That was the only soft bed.

  • Horrible Property/Stay!!!

    My family had reserved a place for the 26-30 December, 2023 in Pensacola, FL. I have stayed at several locations through VRBO in the past years and have never had an issue. In the times past, the home owner would always reach out and communicate through the app with any instructions and questions I had. On this trip, about a month out I get a text from “Evolve” (rental company). This should have been my first suspicion that something was off. And that if I needed to contact them I would need to go through their web site or use their phone number. I had previously sent a couple of messages through the VRBO app which were never responded to.

    On the night of December 26, 2023 we arrived at the property. The place looked like a typical beach rental and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, or so we thought. Once we got into the master bathroom we noticed hair all in the bath tub, shower, and towels on the sink counter. At first we thought no big deal I’ll just rinse the tub and shower out. But that led to bigger issues. As we turned down the sheets in the master bedroom there was human hair all over the pillows and in the sheets, as if the sheets were never cleaned. Since the house has three bedrooms we figured we would try one of the other bedrooms. Well, the other two bedroom had more hair all through the bed and pillows. The last bedroom even had food that was in between the sheets. It looked like someone had been eating crackers earlier. Yes, I have pictures of the hair & food

  • Nice house. Needs a few things. Neighborhood so-so

    Nice house. Nice furniture. Very comfortable master bed. Several things have needed service sine 2021 from our reading the guest book. Many burned out bulbs. Freezer fan really rattles. Bathtub trim peeling. Broken desk tile. Missing utensils. I fixed the back slider screen because it was stuck and derailed. The neighborhood is a mix of nice houses and sketchy modulars. The nearby park is a mess and a homeless person is living in the woods the next street over. If you have small dog it may have a big climb to get onto the deck. There are some pavers under the deck that might help. And be aware there are a lot of prickers in the back, front and lots of other places around Perdido key. Lots of great activities nearby. Quick drive to the state park and beaches.
