• Pictures make it look nicer than it actually is

  I do want to mention prior to my review that the property management was quick to respond which I do appreciate their want to make things right. However, our trip was a Disney trip which for us meant that our schedule was super busy and didn’t allow any time for repairs. We understand a rental home is going to have its flaws but for us this home just had too many that seemed so simple to fix prior to another guest entering the home. I notified them as soon as we arrived of the damages that we had found bc I didn’t want them thinking it was us that caused them. A lot of the items in the home were broke, the beds didn’t have mattress protectors on them and the mattresses were stained and were hard as a rock. They hung the previous guest sheets up in the closets to dry which I think is not sanitary and should be removed from the home. The home appears to be in a residential neighborhood and might be the only home that’s rented out which is fine but it was a little awkward. Overall, the pictures are a bit deceiving and they need to make time in bw guests for repairs.

• Convenient location

  Clean and convenient location for all things Orlando. Easy to enter and exit property. The only problem was tiny ants that were found in the kitchen (on counters and in cabinets).

• Roaches and Ants

  The initial curbside impression included piles of garbage (with flies) in the yard with a note from the garbage company that they wouldn’t pick up that amount - then having to facilitate removal . The listing advertised that you can park in the garage- but there was broken down furniture and a pool table in the way. We moved the pool table and initially discovered the roaches in the garage - huge ones (not small). Then we walked in and found ants in all areas of the house. If you set a soda down for two seconds you’ll need to throw it away after it was infested. We had to clean a cupboard on day one that was left with old food and swarming with ants. We had to throw away brand new food we purchased and found swarming with ants. The master bathroom toilet seat was broken. We quickly discovered the roaches weren’t just in the garage either. There are cameras all over - so you feel like you’re being watched.

  Hi Anna, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - When you reached out and made us aware of the garbage, we promptly responded and took care of the issue, unfortunately, the previous guest had mixed regular trash with the recycling, and in turn, the pickup company refused to pick it up.
  - The garage can park two cars with ease, but despite a note asking guests not to touch or move the pool table, the previous guest disregarded it and moved the pool table anyway which resulted in further damage to the pool table. We did try to explain this to you when you reached out. We do not know what broken furniture you are referring to in the garage as there is none.
  - Since your stay, we have had the home inspected, and no evidence of roaches or ants was found, however, as a precaution we had the home treated.
  - We inspect the home in between each guest stay, and the bathroom toilet seat was not broken prior to your stay, however, we have since had this repaired.
  - We pride ourselves and maintain high standards for our home so that our guests feel welcome and have a great experience. We always welcome guest feedback to ensure we can make their experience better.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
