Awesome Retreat in downtown Lewisburg
5/5 We visited Lewisburg to take in the Christmas festivities. Everything was very convenient and the cottage was immaculate. Our Host was super friendly and ensured that we had everything that we needed! We would definitely consider rebooking the next time that we want to hang out in the Lewisburg area!

Ideal Couples Cottage!
5/5 This little cottage is stunning in design and amenities and is just perfect for a romantic getaway for 2, or even a fun weekend for 2 couples on a little vacation retreat. EVERYTHING in the description is exactly accurate about this cottage, and more. This is probably one of the nicest places we have stayed in using VRBO or AB&B. The owners live nearby, but were not intrusive at all. They did a remarkable job redoing this cottage and the rooms are large and welcoming and the fit and finish of everything is well done. It is located in a really nice section of Lewisburg, and for the most part, we chose to walk to dinner most times, to avoid having to park, but parking is easy in Lewisburg. There are many nice restaurants and shops. We loved the French Goat for fine dining, the Briergarten for some tasty beers, and Aggies Shop for lots of neat items including the chocolates. This cottage is just great for anyone who wants a relaxing quiet upscale place to stay, but if you are looking for WV mountain views, campfires and hot tub, then maybe you should look elsewhere, Otherwise, you will LOVE this place with it's huge tile showers to relax in after a long day of exploring. We went to Babcock State Park to see the Glade Creek Grist Mill, then to the New River Gorge Bridge overlook, and on to the Tamarack Crafters Center in Beckley, followed by the Sandstone Falls overlook. All of that was an easy day. We also saw Lost World Caverns (recommend) and went to the Pomona Spa and Salt Cave for a couples massage and 45 minutes in the cave breathing the salt air. All of that is within an easy day trip of this lovely, sparkling clean cottage. Book with confidence and enjoy your stay with these wonderful, attentive owners. I would give this 6 stars if possible. Perfection
5/5 Our stay in this lovely two story cottage was perfect for our fall adventures in Lewisburg. The home can only be described as cozy elegance with plenty of space for the entire family. The host was close by and responded quickly to any questions we had. We are already looking forward to a return visit!!

The Byrd Cottage is perfect!
5/5 My husband and I stayed in the Byrd Cottage for 2 nights while on a mini get-a-way. The cottage was clean, had everything we needed, and more! Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. And the host was great, offered suggestions and was available if we needed anything. Hope to make it back to Lewisburg soon and will stay at The Byrd Cottage again.
