Amazing getaway
5/5 The location couldn’t be more perfect, right on the water and just a few minutes drive from anything we wanted to see. Kayaks were in great shape and we enjoyed sitting outside taking in the scenery. We will definitely be rebooking here again!
Great Stay
5/5 The cottage has everything one needs for lake side living. They kayaks and paddle boards were used quite often. This is our tenth year renting a cottage on the Chain of Lakes and this place ranks as one of our favorites. Will was fantastic. He was quick to respond to all of our questions and he was very cooperative. We did not expect the washer and dryer so that was an added bonus. My wife and I would recommend this cabin to everyone.
The only drawback is the two pontoon boats at the end of the dock; it would be better if they weren't there. They were used by their owners only three times in the ten days we were on the lake, so that was a very slight infringement on our privacy.
No pier to use - washer broken
2/5 Place was nice inside. Clean. The lawn wasn't mowed. The owner told someone they could use the pier when they knew we would be coming so we had to anchor in the water and walk in the water to get to our boat. Very very frustrating. The owner didn't seem to care about that. The people didn't even use the boats that sat on each side of the pier. The wash machine wasn't hooked up and the sink didn't plug well to wash dishes. The dishwasher might have worked but we couldn't figure it out. The lake and the chains was nice. We would find a different rental next time.
