Great Place, But No Beach Access
4/5 Overall, we had a great stay and the property was very nice. However, we booked the property thinking that we would be able to walk to beach access on Lake Michigan, as clearly described in the listing. While the house is located near the beach, it’s private access only. We were completely unaware and did end up trespassing on private land. Fortunately nothing bad happened, but anyone who rents this property should be made aware they can’t access the beach. We also had some challenges with the window air conditioning units (not shown in the listing pictures), which were not sealed properly and ended up letting a ton of mosquitos and bugs in.
