great location , needs some touches
3/5 had trouble for a few days contacting the manager. the contact information we received was for a person that no longer worked there. took days and had to call that person to get a different contact. location is great, near the voyager village amenities and you can watch golf and airplanes all day. living room is smaller than it looks online. a great big deck was nice, but pealing stain and nails sticking up were a bit dangerous for toddlers without shoes on. really needs more water glasses. and a couple boxes of tissues would have been a nice touch. overall we enjoyed our stay

Rustic, but needs work
3/5 Property is fine for a group of guys playing golf for the weekend, but not very family friendly. Light switch to stairs doesnt work, but instead the owner has two flashlights (one at the top and one at the bottom). Considering this is the primary entrance it makes it a bit difficult to see at night. A lot of notes stating what does and doesn't work (shower door). Kitchen cabinets have several leftover food items (I"m assuming from other guests) that should be taken out. The very narrow circular stairway from the basement to the upper level is unsafe and has a spindle actually out of the hole. The yard had not been mowed since last year and we requested at least a small patch be mowed so the kids could play (the owner did come and accommodate our request.

Hi Ron, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the owner after reading your feedback and they wanted to share the following:
- Thank you for bringing the maintenance and cleanliness concerns to our attention. We're sorry for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We'll be sure to hire an electrician to complete the repair of the light above the stairs as soon as possible. We'll do a thorough walk through of the property so future guests do not run into the same issues.
- Professional photography is used to make sure that the listing photos correctly reflect the property, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised, including the spiral staircase leading to the basement. This feedback will be passed along to our property manager as well to inspect the stairs to ensure our guests feel most comfortable to use them during their stay. Additionally, there is another staircase available for guest use.
- We were glad to be able to accommodate your request to mow the lawn for the kids to be able to play and enjoy it.

Great getaway from the big cities.
5/5 Check in process was quick and easy. Have mostly all the kitchen amenities my family needed to cook meals. Back porch balcony lends to a great view of the golf course, and we also enjoyed the incoming small planes along the air strip. Overall trip a 10 out of 10.
