We were able to get everywhere we wanted very easily from this location, it was perfect for us since we wanted to see the whole island. We also loved being out of town and on this nice farm. The host family was helpful and kind, and made it an easy place to be. We had a great summer vacation here and loved the beautiful weather this week! Thank you!!

We loved our stay at Blue Horse Ranch. The location is perfect, about ten minutes drive to the ferry and Friday Harbor downtown with the grocery store and restaurants. Under 20 minutes drive to major parks with public beaches. Lime Kiln Point State Park is very close to go on a hike, watch a gorgeous sunset or if lucky to see orcas. The house is clean and nicely decorated located in the beautiful valley. There are animals on the property: dogs, cats, horses and chickens. Our 3 years old was beyond happy. Kate was very attentive and helpful with any questions we had.

This blue horse Ranch was such a beautiful surprise!! Its a farm house with horses, hens, dogs, cats...there is a lama next door! It's located so beautifully...grass fields all around with cattle grazing. Its right in the centre of Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor. So very convenient to travel around the whole island. The house is very well equipped. Good collection of dvds to chose from. Our hosts Kate and Mark took great care. Gave us all the travel tips. They are so warm and loving. Thank you so much Kate. Would love coming here again and highly recommend to all visiting San Juan.
We a were welcomed on arrival by our hostess. The property is well maintained, well stocked and clean. The kitchen is especially well supplied with cooking utensils, appliances and dishes. It even has a water jug for drinking because the tap well water has a mild sulfur taste and odor. The two queen beds are comfortable. The only suggestion we have is that some adult games or puzzles provided would be nice. We were unable to access any channel TV due to a lack of satellite TV. We did a lot of reading and checking email because the property has good WiFi. We recommend this VRBO for a quiet and restful retreat.
