Maintenance required
3/5 Great location for skiing Killington mountain and country living. The downside is maintenance is required in first floor bathroom (shower drain clogged), and bathroom floor is slanted and caving in towards shower stall. Kitchen cabinets and doors don’t open and close properly. Kitchen utensils, pots, pans we’re very old and worn. Bath towels old with holes and frayed ends. Sofa in living room (by usable fireplace )is worn and in need of repair . Sofa is also too small for gathering by fireplace . Rocking chairs need repair (broken spindle and very unstable). Charcoal grill on premises is old and rusted out. Grills need to be replaced.. My family and I had a great time overall. Great location . Just needs some TLC

Incredible views!
5/5 This wonderful Farmhouse is chock full of charm. Very nicely furnished. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals for your family. The beds were very comfortable and there is so much room! Our family ranges from 10-89 and all were thrilled with the experience. There are beautifully maintained trails you can hike starting right by the historic barn in the yard featuring gorgeous views! The kids loved hiking and playing basketball in the driveway when they weren’t stretched out in the hammock! Evenings on the front porch on this quiet street we’re just right for our older set. The view from the dining room table looks out on a well manicured lawn and fields of hay and rye...just beautiful. We walked the 1/2 mile to the local market to get coffee most mornings as the rest of the family woke up. I’m an artist and I managed to do four smaller paintings , endeavoring to capture the sights and spirit of the place. We definitely recommend staying here!

A short stay but felt like a real vacation
5/5 We felt privileged to use this beautiful home for a long weekend. We went to a wedding nearby and enjoyed riding our bikes and using the local trail network. Very large with beautiful gathering spaces both inside and out. Remember that it is a Vermont farm house, not an anonymous IKEA furnished rental. Plenty of everything, especially comfort, quiet and books.

Not what was expected
2/5 The house was advertised as being air conditioned , the hottest weekend of the summer and only one bedroom had a window AC unit, nothing in the rest of the house. We called to try to get some help but nothing was done.

Great property with a lot of space
4/5 We spent a ski weekend here with 6 couples total and we were very impressed with the size of the house and the price. The location was great, we were able to make trips to Killington and Okemo easily. I especially liked that they were pet friendly so my two pups could tag along. The only downfalls were the house is alittle outdated and had a slight odor. There were a lot of personal items around the house (hairbrushes, clothes, food in fridge) which my guests thought was alittle strange for a rental property, but it seems this is a family house which is shared by members of a big family. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and probably would book again!
