• Great Place, must/mold smell from basement

  Sadly I am very sensitive to mold and the musty smell. The basement while finished looks like it had a water stain from some time ago with a dehumidifier there. As soon as I walked in the door I could smell it. I had hoped by sleeping upstairs in the master at the other end of the home I wouldn't notice it but my eyes itched and my allergies caused me to sneeze much of the time waking up with stuffy sinuses. Soon as I got home after 2 days I was back to normal again. Great place, this just needs to be dealt with.

• Lovely, beautiful home and space, but a few issues

  The house was gorgeous with huge windows to see the fall leaves and lake. It was a great spot for our party of 2 for a small work meeting. We loved the views and the privacy. The living space and kitchen were perfect for our meeting!There were a few small things that were annoyances more than anything, but I would suggest noting them for future guests: e.g the house was missing information that many houses typically have waiting for guests (guidance on remotes, on how to use heaters, on what to do if the door wouldn't lock (which it didn't)); no bath towels were in the bathroom (they were in the dryer); there was unnannounced water damage in the basement (which we didn't need but had we, it would have been a problem). I would suggest a bit more info for guests but otherwise a lovely home.

• great place with strong mildew smell

  A nice home in a great location. Unfortunately, pervious guests had flooded the basement and the odor of mildew permeated the home. it was strong enough that everyone that stopped by would immediately comment on the odor and I could detect in my clothing after the visit was concluded. The property management company, Evolve, let us know of the flood before arrival, but it appeared that the water had not been removed and it sat like this all week. I left some private comments regarding the flood and basement humidity through the Evolve website a month ago; they have not responded. Beyond that, the kitchen was adequately stocked and the home in a peaceful location overlooking the lake. Without the mildew issue this is a 5 star location.

• Luxe home with lake view

  We had 2 gorgeous autumn days here, and would love to return! very comfortable master suite, and other rooms looked great too. common areas were perfect—kitchen beautifully equipped, and top-notch living room seating with a first-rate smart tv. football table, lots of games and puzzles made this a terrific family home too. up on the hillside, gorgeous view of the lake and very private. loved it!!!
