Had a great time relaxing, disconnecting from technology, and spending time together with our furry friends! Cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Being able to relax, listen to the river, and enjoy the seclusion. There was a functioning phone for emergencies, which was good to have just in case! We'll definitely be back more in the future and have told family in the area to check it out as well!
My partner and I had a lovely time. The location and even the drive to it was absolutely gorgeous! No crazy roads to to drive straight up, just a winding gravel road into the forest. There was no phone service as listed, unfortunately we did have an issue with there being no active emergency phone line. It looks like this is something that the host wants to resolve by the next visit, but might be worth checking in about. Though this lack of access was nerve-wracking, we were able to use the phone 15 minutes up the road! Though the area itself was secluded, I was a bit up bunmed that we had neighbors next door. I'm sure that when spring has fully bloomed there's more privacy between the two properties, would have just liked a visual line with no other signs of human life when I think of seclusion! There's plenty to explore just right there by the cabin, so I highly recommend if you are looking for a weekend where you don't need to go anywhere. The dog and I enjoyed the swimming hole, even though it was cold. It was one of the most refreshing things to do in the mornings while we were there. And if you do want to go somewhere, I highly highly highly recommend the disc golf in the area! We were so excited to find a few courses and every single person we met during our travels was absolutely friendly! Great time!
