Nice but not for babies
4/5 The property was in a great location, close to the golf course and trails. The house was a nice size but could use some updating, including bedding, living room furniture and pots and pans. The biggest issue for us was the noise level. This was most troubling with young children as they cry and have tantrums. The property manager was very responsive and the house was clean.

Great house and location...once you get there
4/5 The property was wonderful. It was the perfect size for a group of 12. One of the main perks was there were enough beds for everyone!The address of the property is listed incorrectly so the first car in our group drop almost an hour out of the way before realizing that the address was wrong. When I reached out to the property manager they were very quick to provide the correct information however they mentioned that this had just happened to someone else. I was very confused why if this had happened to someone else the problem hadn't been fixed. So if you book this property make sure the address doesn't send you to Bridgewater, Virginia (that's wrong!).Our other hiccup with the check in process is there are two lock boxes on the house and guests can only access one of them. Make sure you clarify with the property manager the location of the lock box that you should be using otherwise you will be calling them upon arrival to figure out what you're doing wrong, like I had to. Again, the property manager is extremely helpful and pleasant to work with but it's annoying on the renters end.The property was mostly clean. Some of the dishes had clearly been put away a little dirty by the prior renter. Some of the furniture could use a little face lift but it worked for the short weekend we were there. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay here again. Great house and location for the price to rent. Close to so many things in the Nellysford area. Pleasant experience.
