5/5 We had an amazing stay at the Stone Cottage. It was close to The Creeper Trail and Abingdon. The house was clean and beautiful.

Cozy place
4/5 Good location for trip to the mountains and the Virginia Creeper trail. Cabin was clean and well stocked, easy to get in. Loved the furniture and kitchen design, movie selection. Electric fireplaces are also a welcome touch on cool days.
Place has a mouse issue which is common in wooded areas like this.
We would return all things considered.
Very Private location
5/5 Wouldn’t be for everyone but we enjoyed the privacy of this property and plan to return next May. There is no cell phone service but that was not a problem for us. You could say it was high end glamping! The area is outstanding. A very nice touch was that the owner provided dozens of Keurig pods. Nearest grocery 12 miles in Damascus so best to plan ahead and take provisions unless you plan to visit Damascus for bike hiring.

Great Place to Stay
5/5 This was the perfect place to stay for our trip to visit the Creeper Trail. The place was clean and charming and well stocked for making a meal or two. The hosts were very helpful when we couldn’t figure out the key code :)
