• Easy Walk to Historical Main Street!

  My wife and I wanted to try the route instead of booking a hotel for the weekend. We chose this listing based off of the photos that portrayed a cozy little home with a fantastic view! Turns out, that even though this house is located on the hill, you don't have a view of historical Main Street or anything at all. Your "view" is of someone else's private back patio and roof. It was disappointing to see that not all of the photos in the listing were accurately portraying views from the home. One of the main reasons was that we thought we'd be getting a view. If you want to be close to Main Street, it's a great option. But if you want a view of any kind, stay somewhere else.

  This place was disappointing in every way. Although the property description said that stairs were steep, they did not say how unsafe the stairs to the house are. Although it's supposed to be pet friendly, the only outdoor space was a bark covered dirty spot between the house and the neighbor's. The mattress we slept on was filthy, which we discovered only after stripping the sheets to load them in the washer, which by the way is in the bedroom. Weeds everywhere around the house and trash as well. Even though it says first come first served street parking there is no parking on the street!! The steps made our arrival strenuous and frustrating. We had to haul our stuff from about a block away and up ridiculously unsafe and steep stairs. They used an indoor wooden banister that was wobbly and barely attached to the ground. We had booked a two night stay and only stayed one night. The property descpription said two smart tv's, but there was only one offering standard cable only. Trying to get a partial refund right now. I took pictures and called and emailed the property manager, Evolve, but no response yet. VRBO should delete this listing as soon as possible.

We use professional photographers so we can be sure that our images also accurately reflect our property, and guests can decide before booking if our home and decor meet their expectations.
  - We will follow up with our cleaning service and maintenance crew to address the concerns you mentioned to ensure that future guests do not share the same experience.
  - We apologize for the inconvenience, the previous guest broke one of the smart TVs, and we have since requested the one be removed from our listing.
